Mission
Transition Health is a non-profit organization providing education, advocacy, and affirming, patient-focused, evidence-based healthcare to queer, transgender, and intersectional communities in Oregon. We teach healthcare providers and patients, advocate for queer medicine and social determinants of health, and support our community.
Board of Directors

Bella Jones

Board President
Bella Jones is a nursing student at Lane Community College and has long been a caregiver for trans and disabled people in the community. She is a passionate and resourceful leader, keeping Transition Health organized, efficient, responsive, and flexible. Bella enjoys painting, playing keyboard, advocating for social justice, and showing up for her community.

Nick West

Secretary
Nick West, a licensed realtor known for his patient and meticulous nature, is deeply committed to community service. He is the Vice President of Eugene PRIDE and a board member for HIV Alliance. Nick’s leadership is guided by his core values of empathy, authenticity, and service. In his personal time, Nick enjoys traveling, crafting, and spending time with his husband, two dogs, and their close-knit group of friends and family. As a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and community well-being, Nick strives to create a more inclusive and vibrant future for all.

James Miller

Treasurer
James Miller, MPP, MBA, is a non-profit consultant and strategist with over 20 years of experience. He is currently the Community Mental Health Grant Director at the NC Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Mental Health, Substance Use Services and Developmental Disability. When not working, James enjoys anything beach-related, 8-bit video games, and volunteering with local, mission-driven non-profits. He currently lives with about 25 plants and an Ocracoke Fig Tree named ‘Figgy’.

Audrey Etlinger

Board Member
Audrey Etlinger, RN, MPP, is a healthcare policy expert and change maker. She formerly oversaw abortion services as Clinical Director at Women’s Health Services, and is now the Director of Sexual and Reproductive Health at Cambridge Health Alliance. Prior to becoming a nurse, Audrey worked in health policy research and politics, including working for Sen. Ted Kennedy during the creation of the Affordable Care Act. Audrey enjoys being outside, weight lifting, and spending time with her two children.

Di Nadeau

Board Member
Di Nadeau is an equity-centered mediator, IFS (Internal Family Systems) practitioner, and founder of Grassroots Life Coaching, LLC. They focus on liberation-centered coaching for queer, trans, and nonbinary individuals, specializing in relationships, neurodivergence, and trauma.
