Electrolysis: Due to the length of electrolysis treatment plans, there is a 3-month waiting list for electrolysis at Transition Health. Once you’ve had your consultation, we can call you for cancellations before your official treatment period starts. During your treatment period, we ensure that your appointments are scheduled regularly at the correct interval for optimal permanent hair removal.
Gender-affirming electrolysis is covered by health insurance in Oregon. If you wish to use your insurance, please obtain a letter of support for electrolysis from a behavioral health provider, which is required for prior authorization from your insurance. If needed, we can help you find someone to work with you on a letter.

Gender-Affirming Care: We have availability for gender-affirming care within 1-2 weeks on Sundays. For other days, the wait is 1-2 months, except adolescents receive priority.

Primary Care: Due to high demand, there is a 3-month waiting list to establish primary care at Transition Health. If you provide your contact information and indicate that you would like to become a patient, you will be placed on the list, even if you don’t hear back from us rapidly.
