About the Clinical Team

Transition Health’s Team

My practice of medicine is an extension of my core values, my passion, and my desire to give to and support the community. I am here to listen and advocate on your behalf.

Please let me know what you would like to know! I enjoy researching topics in depth as patients ask questions, then personalizing my medical advice for each individual. I love working with patients of all ages to reach their goals.

My medical experience and professional interests are varied, and include preventive, evidence-based, patient-focused, athletic, 2SLGBTQIA+, and wilderness medicine, as well as healthcare quality improvement. If you have feedback for me, I’d love to hear it.

I believe healthcare should feel safe, respectful, and truly collaborative. My goal is to create a space where people feel heard, supported, and empowered in their care.

I care deeply about working with adolescents and young adults, providing LGBTQIA+ and gender-affirming care, focusing on prevention, and improving access for underserved communities. I am also a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) and feel honored to support survivors with compassionate, trauma-informed care grounded in autonomy, consent, and choice.

Outside of the clinic, I love camping, live music, hammock naps, and spending time with my husband, our three teenagers, and our three dogs.

While midwives are best known for catching babies, our specialty encompasses all of sexual and reproductive heathcare. Midwifery places great value on patient autonomy, informed consent, and the power of supportive partnerships with patients on their journey through life-changing transitions. I bring these values to my work offering gender-affirming hormone therapy, support to prepare for or prevent pregnancy, trauma-informed pelvic care for gender-diverse folks, and lactation induction without pregnancy.

When I’m not at work, I’m wrangling my baby, trying to get out to the woods, and carving out time to make art.

I’m proud to serve the LGBTQ+ community, and I bring extensive knowledge, experience, and sensitivity to working with trans and non-binary clients preparing for procedures such as vaginoplasty, phalloplasty, metoidioplasty, and gender confirmation facial surgery (FFS). I understand that pre-surgical electrolysis isn’t just about hair removal—it’s a crucial medical step in a deeply personal process.

I stay current on surgical protocols, clearance timelines, and best practices to ensure my clients receive the safest, most effective care possible. I collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their surgical schedules, promote healing, and maintain the highest standards of skin integrity.

Whether you’re preparing for gender-affirming surgery, managing PCOS-related hair growth, or simply looking for a long-term solution to unwanted hair, you’re welcome here—exactly as you are. I provide a private, supportive environment where your identity, privacy, and comfort are always respected.

I collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, ensure my clients receive the safest and most effective care possible, promote healing, and maintain the highest standards of skin integrity.

I feel deeply honored to serve the LGBTQ+ community and to support trans and non-binary clients during such meaningful moments in their lives. Preparing for procedures like vaginoplasty, phalloplasty, or facial feminization surgery (FFS) is about so much more than hair removal—it’s a powerful step in aligning your body with who you truly are. I approach this work with care, respect, and a full understanding of how personal this journey can be.

Pre-surgical electrolysis is a medical necessity, but it’s also an emotional experience. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, affirmed, and genuinely supported—where your identity is respected, your privacy is protected, and your comfort matters.

Whether you’re preparing for gender-affirming surgery, managing PCOS-related hair growth, or simply looking for a permanent solution to unwanted hair, you are welcome here exactly as you are. I work closely with each client to develop a personalized plan that fits your goals, timeline, and skin needs. My priority is always to provide effective treatment while protecting your skin’s integrity and supporting healthy healing.

This work is more than a profession to me—it’s a commitment to helping you move forward with confidence, care, and dignity

I strive to be a bridge between patients and Transition Health’s providers, meeting people where they are in order to connect members of trans, queer, and intersectional communities with the vital healthcare they need in a world that continuously tries to make that more difficult. I approach my work with an empathetic lens and am dedicated to doing what I can to keep members of my community from falling through the cracks of a medical system designed to let them.

In practice, I manage and process a majority of patient, clinic and public communications. I ensure patients are able to be seen and heard by our providers as quickly and efficiently as possible, while filling in whatever gaps I can so that the rest of our staff can spend more time focusing on providing the high-quality care our patients deserve.

Away from work you’d be likely to find me at the theater catching the latest film release or out on a walk with my family of three and our dog, Chapo. Above all else, I value time with my loved ones. Whether that be hosting dinners and movie nights, or running a campaign of Dungeons & Dragons for my friends, I’m at my best when I’m with my people (and cats).

I support patients through both hands-on clinical care and the administrative side of their healthcare experience. I am deeply committed to serving my community and helping individuals feel comfortable, respected, and empowered when accessing care.

At the heart of my work is a dedication to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for everyone. I take pride in building genuine connections with patients, advocating for their needs, and helping make healthcare more accessible and compassionate. Supporting patients throughout their journey and contributing to a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued is what motivates me every day.

I believe life is better outside and I try to soak up every moment. Whether that be hiking with my wife, Jenelle, and our dogs, exploring new places through travel, or just soaking up the sun at the beach. Adventure, fresh air, and good company are my happy place.
